This girl is the best big sister! She loves that baby.
She was home in bed when John and I left to go to the hospital. When she woke up, she was surprised to find Papa instead of Mommy and Daddy.
She went to school for a Valentine's Party.
Then finally got to come to the hospital to meet her new baby sister. When she walked into the hospital room, she looked a little nervous. She got in bed with me and kept asking, "Why are you in bed? Where are your clothes?" She was not too sure about my hospital gown. After some snuggling, Presley came over. Rebecca just looked at her for a while.
Eventually, she decided she wanted to hold her.
Now that we are home, she can't keep her hands and lips off of her. Rebecca loves to hold her and kiss her head. She will say things like, "That baby is so cute. That baby is so soft. That baby is so sweet." When Rebecca wakes up or comes home from school, the first thing she asks is, "Where is my baby?
She has really done a great job, considering that her world has been turned up side down. It has helped having grandparents and aunts, uncles, and cousins to distract her.
Presley is one lucky little sister. Her big sister is the best.
