Another 4th of July, another trip to Brevard, and it was a good one. We had such a fun time at John's aunt and uncle's house for our annual July 4th trip.

A nice lady offered to take a picture of the 3 of us, which was nice, because I feel like I never get in the pictures.
Presley insisted on getting an Elmo balloon which is bigger than she is.
The girls loved the show. Rebecca had to retell the whole long story to John when he got home from work. Presley sat in my lap the entire time. She danced and laughed. They both loved when the characters would come off the stage and dance right in front of us. We even got to give Rosita and Zoe high fives. Towards the end, Presley got wiggly. She really wanted to get down and climb onto the stage. Thankfully I held her back, because she would have stolen the show. It really was a cute show.

A Perfect 10
Sunday, June 5, 2011
She took gymnastics at the Y this past year and absolutely loved it. Friday was her Showcase that John and I were able to watch. It was a bit of a madhouse. We were having to look over the different apparatuses. There were five different groups going at five different stations. Parents were everywhere. Flashes were blinding. Babies were crying. But Rebecca rocked it. She had so fun showing off for us. I loved that every few minutes she would search frantically for John and me then break out in a huge smile and wave when she found us. She even got a 1st place medal at the end. That was her favorite part.

Let Her Eat Cake
Saturday, February 12, 2011
She liked the candle. Luckily, Bubba was there to help her blow it out.
She was not sure of the icing.
In fact, she hated it.
So I got a fork and broke it the cake. She still was not a fan.
But finally she took the fork and tried a bite.
Have you ever seen a one year old eat their cake with a fork?
She ended up doing a pretty good job on the cake, with not a lot of clean up.
Good girl!
