Teething

Friday, March 7, 2008

It seems to me that any out-of-sorts behavior that an infant (ages 3 months to 9 months) has can be blamed on teething. Not sleeping? Teething. Not eating? Teething. Fussy? Teething. Drooling? Oh, she must be teething. Making funny faces? That's got to be teething. Putting everything in her mouth? Teething. Pooping a lot? Yep, you guessed it, it's teething. Rebecca has experienced all of these behaviors in her almost 6 months of life, and yet there are no signs of a tooth. It's like an Easter Egg Hunt every day. I go searching for that golden egg, but find nothing. It will be a happy day when that little egg, aka a tooth, appears. Until then, teething will get blamed for everything.
