20 Random Things About Rebecca

Thursday, March 12, 2009

1.  She is 18 months old.

2.  She weighs 23.9 pounds (25-50%) and is 32 inches tall (50-75%).

3.  Her head is big.  It measures in the 95th percentile.

4.  She loves to splash in water and get wet.

5.  She tried peanut butter for the first time today, and loved it.

6.  She blew her first dandelion today.

7.  Sometimes when she is swinging, she closes her eyes and enjoys the ride.

8.  She would stay outside all day if we let her.

9.  She would constantly run out in the street if we let her.

10.  We now have a fence that keeps her confined to the backyard.  She runs to the gate and says, "Outside!".  She doesn't get that she is already outside.

11.  When she has been away from me for a while (school, church nursery, sleeping) she gives me a big hug when she sees me and says, "Oh Mommy,  I miss you!"  It is to die for.

12.  She is a champion of throwing a temper tantrum if she doesn't get her way.

13.  If Rebecca isn't happy, no one is happy.

14.  She likes to snuggle.  She will come up to her daddy or me and say, "Snuggle?"

15.  She refuses to let anyone carry her up or down the stairs.

16.  She likes shoes.  She loves to put on everyone's shoes.  She will even bring me shoes to put on if I am barefoot.

17.  She has tough feet like her Mommy.  It does not bother her to walk barefoot on gravel.  It must be the Mississippi Farm Girl blood in her.

18.  She has learned how to give "the eye" if you do something she does not like.

19.  She is beginning to learn that she can not bite or hit when she does not get her way.

20.  She is a complete mess, but I could not imagine my life without her.
