The Ambrose tummy that is.

I don't know why I thought she wouldn't.

I don't know why I was so reluctant to start.

Well, actually I do. If we started real food that meant she was growing up. Also, it is a lot easier just to latch her on when it's time to eat and not worry about mixing and spooning and making a mess.

After watching Presley watch us eat and listening to her smack her lips as we ate, I decided that on the day she turned 5 months, she would get her first bite of real food. If you can call rice cereal real food.

She was a pro right from the start. She opened her mouth for each bite. Not everything stayed in her mouth, but overall it was a success. If fact, last night she got made at me because I was not giving it to her fast enough.









If she likes rice cereal this much, she better hold on to her taste buds...peas are next.
